The Blueberry Farm / Muscadines

Fall at the farm

Muscadines after blueberry season

The farm’s small vineyard extends the U-pick year into early fall, usually from September into October.

A second season

The Blueberry Farm has long offered pick-your-own muscadines after the main blueberry season. The farm’s history describes both bronze and dark muscadines in a small vineyard.

Historically, the season begins around early September and can continue into October. As with blueberries, the crop—not a fixed calendar date—determines what is actually ready.

Before you drive: use the current farm update for availability, current hours, and price.

The same low-key visit

Muscadine season carries forward the same self-directed character: park, pick, follow the posted instructions, and take your time. It is a later-season version of the same family ritual.

Don’t assume the calendar means the crop is ready.

Availability can move with weather and ripening. The current update should always be the final word before a trip.
